Dr. Herbert Smith graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1975. Dr Smith has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Larchmont since 1980. For several years, Westchester Magazine has recognized Dr. Smith as one of the leading pediatric dentists in the county.

He spent two years in the U.S. Army, where he got experience in all phases of dentistry and afterwards, completed his advanced training in the pediatric dentistry residency program at Howard University.

Dr. Smith is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at N.Y.U. and a staff pediatric dentist at United Cerebral Palsy.

He was a past president of the New York State Association of Pediatric Dentists. He belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Smith is very proud that twenty pediatricians and many other physicians and nurses have brought their children to him for their care. He has even treated the children of a number of dentists who are specialists that don’t see kids themselves.
